Please find below information regarding the admission process for St Teresa's School. Please take the time to read the Admissions policy which will explain how places are allocated.  

Reception Admissions September 2026  Applications will open Monday 3rd November.

Applications for school places in Reception Class for September 2026, for children born between 1/9/2021 and 31/8/2022.

Dates for tours for prospective parents of children starting Reception in September 2026 are:

• Thursday 13th November 9.30am - 10.30am
• Monday 8th December 9.30am  - 10.30am

How  to apply for a school place for Reception 2026

To apply for a Reception place for September 2026, register and apply on-line with Hertfordshire admissions by 15th January 2026  www.hertsdirect.org/admissions  

You must also complete and return to the school office our Supplementary Information Form along with your child's original baptism certificate and Certificate of Catholic Practice (if your child has been baptised and regularly attends church) by 3pm Monday 15th January 2026.

The Certificate of Catholic Practice must be obtained from the priest at the parish where you normally worship.  

Please note forms can be hand delivered to our school office between 9.30am and 3pm or applications can be emailed to admissions@stteresas.herts.sch.uk  

In Year Admissions 2025/2026

St Teresa's welcomes families from all faiths but preference is given to practising Catholic Families as per our Admissions Policy.
